What Others are Saying...
Here is a sampling of feedback from those who have worked with Marie-Térèse
“

In the four years I have worked with Marie-Terese at the CRD Board she has demonstrated and proven her humanity and integrity without reservation. She is dogged in efforts to do what is right and fair for the betterment of her community. A staunch advocate for 'the Arts', Youth Justice, farm and woodlands preservation, honest and accountable governance all the while enhancing the strength of Metchosin within the broader CRD. Mayor Marie-Terese Little is a lady whose word is as strong as her determination to make your community a better place. I grew up on the Metchosin border and to this day continue to share many of my early neighbours rural values that MT defends. Strong moral fibre supporting honest respectful governance.
I don’t vote in Metchosin, but if I did I’d be voting to
Re-elect Mayor Little …

"I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Victoria Family Court & Youth Justice Committee since 2019.
Appointed Committee Chair in 2022, Marie-Térèse Little provided leadership as the Committee transitioned to a CRD Delegated Authority Committee. In her role as Chair, Marie-Térèse demonstrated unwavering commitment to educate municipal and school board leaders on the challenges and shortfalls facing youth and families who came into contact with the justice system. She also advocated tirelessly on behalf of the frontline service agencies that provide services for youth in the region. Issues were complex and often emotionally intense. Marie-Térèse led with compassion, respect and a willingness to work across sectors to advance support for youth. I believe Marie-Térèse will bring the same attributes of clear vision and steady leadership in serving as Mayor of Metchosin.

"For the past four years, I have had the pleasure to work with Marie-Térèse Little on a regional advisory committee related to Indigenous reconciliation. She is a wise and thoughtful voice on this Committee, demonstrating informed leadership on behalf of local government, local Indigenous communities and Metchosin. Marie-Terese Little is an articulate, dedicated community leader in Metchosin and at CRD."

" Any government would be well-served to have Marie-Térèse Little as their leader, for a small rural municipality like Metchosin I’d say it’s the catch of a lifetime. Competent, confident
and compassionate she understands what it takes to chart a clear path for a rural community navigating what is an increasingly urban regulatory environment.
Having had the opportunity to work with Marie Térèse as a fellow CRD Director I can say without hesitation she’s incredibly organized, analytical and thorough. When Metchosin speaks at the CRD Board, now everyone listens, a far cry from that of the previous term.
Marie-Térèse hits every high note needed to lead any organization. She’s blindingly intelligent and organized, knows the value of disciplined research and yet incredibly approachable. Metchosin is fortunate to have her as mayor and doubly fortunate that she’s
running again. Take my advice. Vote for her, you won’t regret it.
OMG! When is anyone lucky enough to have a brilliant person step up for political office, whose depth of knowledge, critical thinking, compassion, confidence and leadership skills abound? That would be the residents of Metchosin with Marie-Térèse Little running for re-election. "
